Ray Gordon is a Los Angeles-based writer and performer.



As a Copywriter, Ray worked on the 2020 “BBC Dad” campaign for Twitter, which was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion award, and the Super Bowl ad campaign for Budweiser in 2021. Since then, Ray worked as a senior copywriter at Movement Strategy concepting and writing paid and organic social media campaigns for clients like Paramount+, TurboTax, UEFA Champions League, Netflix, HBO, and more. He is currently a Senior Copywriter at Sphere where he develops and writes in-house brand campaigns for Sphere, in addition to concepting, writing, and providing creative direction on campaigns for global brand activations on Sphere’s “Exosphere.”



Ray started his career in comedy, performing on house improv teams at iO Chicago and other theaters across Chicago and LA. He wrote punch-up for the animated comedy The Pole (SyFy), and worked as a Script Coordinator on the Emmy-winning series Special (Netflix), and as a Writer’s Assistant on Future Man (Hulu).

Outside of his career, Ray is a marathon runner, does vocals for a hardcore band, cares too deeply for the 76ers, and played on the 2017 Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour. He lives with his wife, his dog Olive, and way too many history + sociology books.
